Spectrophotometer Color Test
Spectrophotometer Color Test
Purpose of Test:
A spectrophotometer is used to measure the differences in color between a reference and a test specimen and are determined from measurements made by use of a spectral based or filter based colorimeter.
Color-difference magnitudes are computed, from differences in these color-scale values, that represent the perceived color differences between the reference and the test specimen.
Measuring geometry is d/10, Light source D65.
Device/Machine: UV-VIS Spectrophotometer.
Calibration Frequency:
o UV-VIS Spectrophotometer: Every 8 Hours
Approximate Test Duration:
o Sample preparation and Test time: 30 minutes
Specification: ASTM D2244
