Adhesion by Cross Hatch Test

Purpose of Test:

If an organic coating is to fulfill its function of protecting or decorating a steel sheet; it must adhere to it for the expected service life.

This test method is useful for assessing the adhesion of organic coated films on steel sheets by applying and removing adhesive tape over cuts made in the film.

Device/Machine: Multi Cross Cutter.
